About RadioBrecht

RadioBrecht, in a nutshell, is a framework for long-term research projects about:

Availability of the communication technologies and development models of accessability,
Collaborative and open models of content access and the potential of sustainable models,
The libertarian potential of the tools, methods and media of communication,
Opportunities of an alternative communication, independent from both the dominan economic structure and media/culture industry.

The methodology of the researchs are planned but not limited to:

  • Case studies,
  • Archive, review and critics of the selected works in theoretical domain,
  • Workshops,
  • Support/Funds for Projects,
  • Audio/Visual, electronic and printed publications.

The main title of the project is derived after thoughts of German thinker Bertolt Brecht, especially on the radio and opportunities of free communication.
